The Event Team

In the Event Team, you will make the festival come to life through preparation before the festival, with security measures, venue planning and planning the theme party. You will also work during the festival by making sure everything works smoothly and that our audience has an amazing experience. You will get to know every nook and cranny of Samfundet, while seeing the inner clockwork of the world’s largest international student festival. If this sounds like an interesting challenge, you should definitely apply!

 Unlike most other positions with ISFiT-21, the positions in the Event Team requires being fluent in Norwegian, both spoken and written. This is due to security concerns during the hosting of events. The Events Team will have positions available for English speaking students closer to the festival.

The Art Team

In the Art Team, you will arrange events that express the theme through art forms that do not necessarily happen on a stage. This includes everything from creative and conceptual work when shaping the program inspired by the theme, to leadership tasks such as personnel work and planning. You will also be working during the festival and get to take part in the events. You have a lot of room to define what you want to show the world and a unique chance to get some invaluable experience. If this sounds like something you would like to do, don’t hesitate to apply!

The Literature Team

In the Literature Team, you will take part in creating a literature program inspired by the theme Creating Knowledge, from brainstorming and conceptual work, to leadership tasks concerning work and planning. As a member of the Literature Team will have a lot of creative freedom when creating the literature program. You will also be working during the festival and get to take part in the events. The Performing Arts Team

In the Performing Arts Team you will take part in creating stage events that are not concerts. This includes everything from creative and conceptual work when shaping the program inspired by the theme, to leadership tasks like planning and organizational skills. You will also be working during the festival and get to take part in the events. You have a lot of room to define your position and the chance to get unique experiences. The Concert Team

In the Concert Team, you get book concerts and contribute to the making of ISFiT21’s cultural program. This includes booking DJs, creating concepts and concert events, with a thematic profile. You will be part of the brainstorming, conceptual work, and planning when researching what artists you might book, start projects, while booking and setting the program. The Ceremony Team

In the Ceremony Team, you will take part in creating and arranging the traditional ISFiT ceremonies. Traditionally there are three ceremonies during ISFiT, the Opening ceremony, the Peace Prize Ceremony and the Closing Ceremony. You will get to from a creative and conceptual work when shaping the ceremonies inspired by the theme, to leadership tasks like planning, and setting your mark in the organization. You will also be working during the ceremonies and take an active part during the events. You have a lot of room to define your position and get some unique experience. The Plenary Sessions team

In the Plenary Session Team, you will take part in organize and arrange sessions and debates relating to the theme of “Creating Knowledge”. You will be there from the very first steps of brainstorming and conceptual work, and be able to make your mark on both the organization and the festival. The Project Day Team

While other teams work with set structures, as part of the Project Day Team you will get to start with a clean slate. Project Day is a set day for the participants, where they get an insight into the theme through something other than workshops. Earlier this has included conferences and courses, but as a new team in the culture section, we encourage to challenge what the Project day has been earlier. In the Project Day Team, you will have a lot of room to define your own position and has the chance to get unique experiences.
