ISFiT21 is recruiting Board Members!

Do you want to be a part of creating the world’s largest international student festival? Do you want to gain leadership experience and learn how to make a festival from the ground up? ISFiT21 is now looking for board members!

As a board member in ISFiT21 you will get to work with the organisation as a whole, as well as leading an entire section towards the festival. Being a part of the ISFiT board therefore provides an unique opportunity to learn what it takes to make an international festival, and learning how to manage a section as a leader supporting it’s volunteers.

No previous experience is required for any of these positions, as we are looking for engaged and dedicated people that are open to learn and to be a part of ISFiT21 for the next two years!

Head of Internal Resource 

Do you want to lead a section that manages the two most important resources in the organisation: the volunteers and the economy of the festival?

Internal Resource is a section that contributes to all the work that is being done in the festival; from building systems ensuring the well-being of the volunteers, to IT solutions and managing the economy to make sure that projects can be realised. As the Head of Internal Resource you will lead a section that is going to be a resource for the rest of the organisation- all to make it work as well as possible. This will include arranging courses for the other volunteers and being responsible of areas such as economy, HR, IT and internal events.

So if you are interested in learning about what makes an organisation of 500 people solid then this is the position for you!

Head of Administration

Do you want to play a key role in building and managing an organisation of 500 volunteers, as well as executing a 10 day festival with students from all over the world?

The Administration Section is the backbone of the organisation and plays a dynamic and exciting role in ISFiT. As the Head of Administration you will work with the logistics and operations of the organisation in the lead-up to and during the festival, and you will therefore be essential in making the organisation and the festival well-functioning. This includes areas such as welfare, transport, recruitment and more, which are all crucial for both the volunteer experience, the participants and all the people attending the festival.

So if you are interested in learning how to administer the biggest international student festival in the world, then this is the position for you!

Head of Communication

Do you want to play a key role in communicating a whole festival and creating attention around the theme both nationally and internationally?

As the Head of Communication Section you will lead a section that will work with communicating ISFiT21 and the theme Creating Knowledge through film, social media, design, marketing and more. The Communication Section plays a key role in making the festival and the theme visible, and  in communicating to the public what ISFiT is really all about. As Head of Communication you will therefore have an exciting and proactive role working closely with all of the sections, as well as external partners.

So if you want to lead a section that will work both creatively and strategically in communicating ISFiT21, then this is the position for you!

Head of Culture 

Do you want to play a key role in creating the cultural programme that will engage students from all over the world in February 2021?

The Culture Section creates a 10 days festival programme, working with various artist and profiled people from all over the world. The key role of the Culture Section in ISFiT21 will be to explore the theme Creating Knowledge through concerts, debates, litterature, art and more. As Head of Culture you will therefore get to work both creatively, but also learn what it takes to plan and execute an entire cultural programme for both students and the population of Trondheim, as well as for students from all over the world!

So if you are interested in exploring the theme Creating Knowledge through cultural events, then this is the position for you!

Head of Participant 

Do you want to create an arena for students from all over the world to explore the theme Creating Knowledge?

The Participant Section of ISFiT21 will work with the entire participant experience- from workshops to the host experience. As Head of Participants you will have the opportunity to work with both the thematic and the practical aspects of the festival. Your section will play an absolute key role in creating a platform for students from all over the world to meet and discuss through dialogue and debates, developing the workshops and recruiting participants.

So if you are interested in working with the theme Creating Knowledge and with engaging students from all over the world in dialogue and debates, then this is the position for you!

Leader of the Student Peace Prize

Do you want to work with students and peacebuilding both on a national and on a global level?

As Leader of the Student Peace Prize you will work with strengthening the impact of the prize. The Student Peace Prize is awarded on behalf of all the students of Norway and as such, this position will see you working with numerous organisations nationwide and with engaging students from all over Norway. In addition, candidates for the award are nominated from all over the world, meaning you will also get to think globally.
