Students in Struggle
Students have always played an important role in the society, as perhaps THE main agent of change for the better. The struggle for democracy and a just society is however anything but easy, and maintaining the necessary inspiration and motivation is difficult in the absence of apparent progress. Skills, knowledge and experience are therefore needed to improve the success ratio and the effectiveness of students' struggles.
To do something about this, ISFiT 2007 gathered several hundred talented and caring students for 9 days of workshops, debates, thematic meetings and cross-cultural learning. One of the workshops, Workshop 16 - bearing the name Students in Struggle - was to be the spear point of this movement, setting up this web site and initiating several related projects aimed at enhancing eachother's struggles.
The main features of the site is a knowledge bank where we can share our knowledge on relevant topics, a project site that enables you to get feedback on your work from other students in struggle, and a news section for sharing relevant news stories. There is also a tool for virtual cooperation, which enables project management across time and distance.
