120 Days danced the night away
The Norwegian band 120 Days delivered a great show at Blæst last night. Since the Nils Petter Molvær concert at Samfundet was free of charge, the ISFiT participants and volunteers were nowhere to be found at Blæst. But if there were any, they weren’t many.

Jason Molina evoked tears in his public’s eyes at ”Klubben” Saturday night. His beautiful, but sad accords and his wistful voice, kept a close bound between him and his audience. It was a very personal concert, and “Klubben” was filled up with people.

KaRL BaRX from Trondheim made a happy-happy feeling at ”Knaus” Saturday night with their energy-filled music. They made people in good mood, that’s for sure with their catchy and fast rhythms. The music goes from the quiet and slow, with sudden changes to the completely opposite. A funny concert which simply makes you feel good.

Sunday the 18th of February, the first Grand hall meeting at ISFiT 2007 took place at the Student Society. With prominent guests such as children rights activist Kimmie Weeks and Raj Shekar Chandola everything was set for an interesting and inspirational first meeting.

Minorities
With an introduction in both the Sàmi and Roma ethnic groups, the ISFiT-participants were presented the issues of the globalized minorities of the world. Likeness and differences among the two cultures were discussed and also what must be done for these peoples to get an equal opportunity in the future.
